“Where are you going to go?”

“Somewhere else. You should come with me.”

“I don’t know the way.”

“Of course you do. You know about more than ink and books.”

“Actually I don’t.”

“Oh, well that’s disappointing. I always thought you were more than a writer.”

“Nope, I’m basically just a writer.”

“Right.” 

“Yeah.”

“So you’re coming?”

“I’m not sure. You haven’t said where you’re headed.”

“Yes I did.”

“Well, technically, but really you just said you were going any other place than we are right now.” 

“Yes I did.” 

“Let me get some pencils. And a legal pad maybe. I’ll come back.”
