Emoticon Writer, No. 10

This is Emoticon Writer in the middle of a nervous breakdown. He’s trying very hard to avoid looking at his computer screen. He just murdered his protagonist, and is reasonably sure that the Deus Ex Machina Effect is about to tear of his head an use it as a football. This is not what is about to happen; Emoticon Writer is being paranoid. The Deus Ex Machina Effect only kills writers who are foolish enough to try and communicate with their characters and warn them of their tragically impending deaths.
