This is Emoticon Love Interest. She decided to have an argument with a chair. Simply because the chair hasn't responded, Emoticon Love Interest is winning. Emoticon Love Interest isn't sure if she has moral superiority in her argument however; she's considering calling Emoticon Writer and asking him whether she or the chair has moral superiority, but isn't sure if she doesn't have phone laryngitis.
Phone laryngitis is an entirely serious condition that Emoticon Love Interest made up to keep herself from calling Emoticon Writer and making a fool of herself.
